Bathroom medicine cabinets made almost entirely from reclaimed materials. It’s a very unique design I came up with that has a small display window in the center and uses a weaved panel in the door. The H shaped pattern in the door run perpendicular to the shelves inside the cabinet. The main frame is made from salvaged pine which used …
294 Piece Segmented Pepper Grinders
These pepper grinders were built in collaboration with Pat Lap from the “Le Picbois” channel! The blanks are made from 12 segmented rings with 24 pieces each and capped with some mahogany pieces. The wood used is all reclaimed – poplar pallet wood and mahogany deck balusters. Pat turned these on his lathe and added the pepper grinder kit. Just …
The Handsaw Pushstick
This push stick is a very unique design that is both comfortable and versatile. It takes advantage of the handle of a hand saw which is already form fitted to your hand. The groove for the blade is retrofitted into a 3/8″ wide groove in order to fit a piece of 3/8″ plywood. It has 2 surfaces and a point …
Modern Waterfall Table (The Obtuse Tables)
This pair of “waterfall” style tables I’m calling The Obtuse Tables were made from a repurposed maple butcher block countertop with a leg frame made from reclaimed mahogany. The main surface of the table wraps down at 95 degrees, so each of the legs kicks over at 5 degrees. The original idea behind this design was that due to the …
Coved Mirrors
These mirrors were created from reclaimed pine paneling and reclaimed mahogany deck balusters. Each section was glued up and then the coves were cut at an angle on the table saw and glued up again into the panels. The mirrors were repurposed from the center pieces at my sisters wedding. Enjoy the build! Build Details Thanks for checking out this …

Jackman Modular Miter Saw Station
This miter saw station is designed to fit on an existing workbench. The upper units could easily be scaled and be used as base units as well if you don’t have a workbench to build it off of. Each unit is 3′ wide and can be added or subtracted depending on how much room you want to the left and …
CNC Table & Storage
CNC table made entirely from reclaimed 3/4″ pine boards along with some plywood for the top and the drawers. I chose nice 3/4″ hardwood plywood for the top because I wanted the top to be as flat as possible to reference off of. This has been on my to-do list since I moved into the new shop – the X-Carve …
Cement USB Hub
This is part of the USB Hub Challenge. Check out Giaco Whatever’s channel – this all started with his Cement USB Hub build on the Make Magazine channel. There was a lot of animosity in response to that video, so a bunch of us decided to get together and turn it into something positive. Be sure to check out the …
Epoxy Wire & Wood Bowl
This bowl is a wedding present for my sister and brother-in-law. The base of this bowl is made from spalted beech from a fallen branch off of a 120 year old beech tree. I had a busted ethernet cable that I ripped open and embedded in a two-part epoxy (he is an electrical engineer). The top segmented rings are made …
Concrete & Upcycled Glass Lamps
There is another studio next door to me that is a glass blowing shop. Sometimes they will throw away their scrap colored glass, so that’s how I was able to find this stuff in the dumpster. The lighting used is an RGB LED flood light. See the link below for the product I used. Both of these are able to …
Reclaimed (pallet wood/mahogany) Segmented Bowl
This is a wedding present for my cousin in-law and my cousin in-law-in-law(?). Materials for this project were all reclaimed (except of course epoxy/finish). The lighter wood is oak and poplar pallet wood and the darker wood is mahogany that came from deck balusters I rescued from the trash. Even the yellow plastic used for Mickey and Minnie Mouse was …
